Michelle Mitchell is a farsighted, huge-hearted, clear-minded coach who will get you out of the stickiest, thorniest dilemmas life can create. She’s particularly good at coaching people through career transitions (she specializes in working with lawyers who feel called to a different life purpose). Her insights are wonderfully liberating for anyone who feels stuck, in career or personal situations. I loved being coached by her, and I think you will too.

Coaching with Michelle has been so helpful! Michelle has helped me to take my fears out of the equation when it comes to navigating coparenting issues and figure out how to create the best path forward for me and my kids. Working in a group setting also helps me to feel less alone.
— Laura, VA
Michelle’s group coaching program was just what I needed. Dealing with a high-conflict parallel parenting situation can be daunting, especially when you feel like you’re all alone. It was extremely refreshing to see other parents that are in similar situations and getting the chance to hear everyone’s shared experiences reassured me that I was on the right track. I’d highly recommend Michelle’s group coaching to any parent that wants to take the next step towards a more holistic approach to their parenting!

Michelle has helped me find the power, voice, and confidence to stand up for myself and for my child while recovering from (and wanting to avoid further) pain from years of legal battles. She has made that happen while shielding me from regular emotional attacks from my coparent — taking pages-long emails that are sent and just giving me the facts, allowing me to stay away from the drama and to focus on making sound decisions. In short, Michelle is allowing me to put far more attention towards all that’s good in life and towards multiplying that goodness, as opposed to be being stuck in never-ending emotional mud. Thanks, Michelle!

It has been such a pleasure (and relief!) working with Michelle. She has helped me at various stages of my separation, divorce, and custody negotiations. Having her take over my OFW messages relieved an enormous amount of anxiety related to having to read my ex’s messages. It helped to get a distilled version—minus inflammatory language—in my personal email box from a trusted person. She also edited my responses to reduce conflict. Additionally, she helped in drafting legal statements I could pass along to my lawyer, reducing the time my (more expensive) lawyer had to spend and also increasing the attention to detail and quality of the statements overall. I continue to use Michelle’s services and recommend her without reservation. My only regret is not finding her sooner!
— Michelle (California)
Michelle provided me with some very sound advice on everything from children therapist’s referrals to tips on how to be an effective, albeit temporary, full-time single parent. Moreover, she also gracefully shared her vast resources of expertise.
I have immense respect and admiration for the work Michelle does, as I know that she also went through her own high conflict experiences. To know what works and doesn’t work in the world of high conflict co-parenting is invaluable, and this is one just one of the strengths that she brings to the table.
— Marc, CA
Michelle was instrumental in helping me navigate through a high conflict divorce, where the mother of my young children chose to have very little contact with the kids for almost nine months. It was a very difficult time in my life, and especially hard for the children.

I highly recommend you hire Michelle as your coach, as I am very confident it will be one of the smartest decisions you will make.

Michelle has been instrumental in getting me focused and on track with my latest business start-up. I honestly can say I wouldn’t be where I am— months from launch— without having had coaching sessions with her. For anyone needing direction in business or life, she’ll make a huge difference— I promise!

My husband and I hired Michelle to go into our Talking Parent app and be like a ghostwriter for us. I can’t tell you how much of an incredible relief this was and what a game changer it was for our lives. Our mental health improved. Our relationship improved, our adrenaline fatigue recovered, we recovered, and we just got so much healthier and we actually learned so much from Michelle. And everything she helped us with and understanding how to handle everything was like a miraculous game changer. Highly recommend. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Having Coach Michelle and Brittany assisting in ghostwriting has been my best move. It gives me such a mental relief that I don’t have to rethink things over and over. I really appreciate them both!!

At first, I was skeptical about group coaching but I found that, with Michelle’s guidance and insights, having a group adds wonderful context and nuance to learning how to co-parent in high-conflict situations. Hearing other group members stories and joining together to support each other and work through solutions, provides perspective and creativity beyond typical 1:1 interactions. I highly recommend!

Michelle is a friend, colleague, and a sounding board for over 20 years. She has become that trusted advisor and inspiration in the storms that life inevitably throws us. I seek her advice about high conflict parenting issues, single parenting issues, and when I need a push to get past a mental block. As both a life coach and a lawyer, not to mention being an amazing single mom, Michelle provides pragmatic advice I can trust. I wholeheartedly recommend Michelle as a life coach.

I highly recommend Michelle. She is VERY good at what she does! She is the total package. She is totally reliable, deeply knowledgeable, her advice is excellent, and she is wonderfully kind, empathetic and understanding. She consistently makes hard things easier. My nervous system has benefited tremendously from working with Michelle.

The coach training was life changing for me, in that it deeply engages ones means to understand components that lead to a high conflict relationship, that I’d not been aware of.
— Shelly
Michelle’s tools and coaching were very fulfilling and helped us reframe our focus and priorities in a toxic co-parenting environment. We still use her suggestions to this day. I would recommend for anyone going needing help to navigate the tough dynamic of raising a child or children under these circumstances.

Michelle has been a Godsend for myself and my family. Dealing with my HC co-parent always induced anxiety and stress, however after several session with Michelle, I was able to establish solid boundaries and develop coping mechanisms to deal with triggering situations. My family and I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and we couldn’t have done it without Michelle’s help! I strongly recommend her for anyone that is dealing with a HC co-parent, your future best-version of yourself will thank you for it!

I completed six life coaching classes with Michelle and can honestly tell you it has been a life-altering experience. Having just moved 3000 miles away from home for a job opportunity, and going through the ending of a relationship, Michelle was recommended to me by a friend. It has been six weeks now and my outlook on life has completely changed in every positive way imaginable. I have begun conquering things in my life that I never knew how to take on before. Michelle is both a good listener and motivator.

Working with Michelle has been wonderful. She is an extremely professional coach, yet at the same time caring and understanding. The sessions we have done together, as well as the background materials and home assignments she has provided have been valuable in my starting the process of figuring out how to achieve a more positive, blissful life. Perhaps most importantly she has helped me realize that it is OK to be in a state of confusion about where my life is heading and to not always have all the answers at my fingertips. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a life coach.

I had no ideas how much I was holding myself back in all aspects of my life until I started my coaching sessions with Michelle. With Michelle’s guidance, I have discovered that I am in control and I can choose to embrace my reality and take the necessary steps to find inner peace. The best thing about Michelle is not only that she has a wonderful amount of compassion, but that she will make you want to do the work! Working with Michelle has reawakened my spirit, and I am acting on my personal and professional dreams because as soon as you learn to turn it around, anything is possible!
— Michele, Maui, HI
Michelle has coached me through my own life’s journey. Her time and dedication has been valuable and greatly appreciated. She is compassionate and yet she will say what needs to be said. She has now guided me through exercises that challenge my own thought process and refine what I’m really striving to achieve in my life. Everyone needs guidance. Everyone needs compassion. Everyone needs a little help from Michelle to help coach them through the many ups and downs that life offers. I would strongly recommend everyone give Michelle a chance to touch their lives the way she has mine.

I have known Michelle through a mutual friend, but just recently began working with her in the life coach sessions. One word describes her presence in the sessions thus far: Real. She is a real person, with endless compassion and a gentle approach to helping me discover the strength within myself, to overcome my fears and self-imposed obstacles. I have only begun the breakthrough work, and could not ask for a better coach to walk along with me in the journey.
