Michelle Mitchell is a farsighted, huge-hearted, clear-minded coach who will get you out of the stickiest, thorniest dilemmas life can create. She's particularly good at coaching people through career transitions (she specializes in working with lawyers who feel called to a different life purpose). Her insights are wonderfully liberating for anyone who feels stuck, in career or personal situations. I loved being coached by her, and I think you will too."  Martha Beck, America's Premier Life Coach, Best Selling Author and Contributing Writer To O Magazine.

I’m Coach Michelle

Michelle’s journey into coaching evolved out of her life-long interest in serving others, personal growth, spirituality, a passion for protecting children, and her unique experience as both a licensed attorney, a Certified High Conflict Diversion Coach, as well as a Certified Martha Beck Life Coach.

Michelle’s coaching is also rooted in her years of research and experience with high conflict co-parenting conflict resolution, and her personal journey through her own once very high conflict co-parenting relationship. She also draws upon Byron Katie’s work with a four-question inquiry and Loving What Is, which increases personal awareness and accountability.

Coach Michelle has a son who splits his time between two homes, and she has a daughter, who she had on her own.  Michelle successfully learned how to navigate a very high conflict co-parenting relationship, which is now low-to-no conflict.

Michelle completed her undergraduate work at the University of San Diego, studying Psychology and Philosophy, and she received her Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. Michelle has been a certified life coach for the past 15 years, and utilizes coaching techniques developed by Martha Beck, best-selling author of “Breaking Point” , “Finding Your Own North Star”, and columnist for O:  Oprah’s Magazine, as well as Brook Olsen’s High Conflict Diversion Program.  Michelle is an educator, teaching the High Conflict Diversion 9-week course, and she has been a California licensed attorney for over 20 years!
